If it doesn't, double-click the FileZilla Server shortcut on your desktop.Ĭlick OK to log in to the admin interface. The FileZilla admin interface should launch automatically. When it's finished, you'll have FileZille Server installed, and it will only start manually (helping protect your computer from unwanted access). I can't remember where exactly it is in XP I think it's in the "Set up a wireless network" wizard? The former is built into Windows and is just a matter of running through a wizard. I thought this would be easy, but I have been at this now for 2 hours. I am so clueless and may be doing something I shouldn't need to do? I have searched the help files in Microsoft and nothing. How do I do that? I am running XP Professional, serv pk 3. What setting do I need to use? Is it the FTP or the PTP or something else? The manual says I need to set my laptop up to be a server. I am stuck trying to get the computer and the camera to talk to each other. As long as your computer's got WiFi (so the computer and the WFT-E3A can talk to each other), you're set. I have read the manual, but don t understand what it is asking me to do. I have searched the internet and I have not found much. I basically want to take a picture and have it transfer to my laptop wirelessly.Īny help would be appreciated. Is there a way to set this up with out using an internet connection? I don't understand all the jargon that comes up on the set up wizard so I have no clue what I am doing. I have a Dell Latitude 620 Laptop running Windows XP SP3 and the place I will be at on Sunday will not have internet. Does anybody have this or use it, or used it? I have rented one for this weekend and I am needing help to set it up.
